    What This Service Covers

Domestic air conditioning installation covers the full design, supply, and fitting of cooling systems for your home. Whether you need a single split unit for one room or a multi-split system covering your entire property, we design the system around your space, your usage, and your budget.

This service is for homeowners who want reliable cooling during summer months, improved air quality, and in many cases, supplementary heating during winter. Modern air conditioning systems are highly efficient heat pumps that can both cool and heat — making them a versatile addition to any home.

Professional installation matters because incorrect sizing, poor pipework routing, or badly positioned indoor units lead to noisy operation, uneven temperatures, and higher running costs. We survey your property, calculate the precise cooling load for each room, and design a system that delivers consistent comfort with minimal energy use.

We install systems from leading manufacturers including Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Samsung, and Panasonic. All installations are carried out to F-Gas regulations, fully commissioned, and handed over with a complete user guide and warranty documentation.

    What Happens If You Wait?

UK summers are getting hotter. Properties with south-facing rooms, conservatories, loft conversions, or large glazed areas can reach uncomfortable temperatures that disrupt sleep, reduce productivity, and affect wellbeing. Portable units are noisy, inefficient, and require window venting that compromises security.

Delaying installation often means booking during peak summer demand when lead times stretch to weeks. Planning your installation for spring or autumn means quicker availability, often lower pricing, and a system ready before the heat arrives.

Poorly installed systems create problems that persist for years — excessive noise from incorrectly sized pipework, condensate leaks from poorly routed drainage, and vibration from units mounted without proper anti-vibration fixings. These issues are expensive to correct after the fact.

Without professional heat load calculations, many homeowners buy systems that are either undersized (running constantly without reaching target temperature) or oversized (short-cycling, wasting energy, and wearing out prematurely). Both scenarios cost more to run than a correctly sized system.

    How We Work

    1

    Site Survey & Consultation

We visit your property to assess room dimensions, insulation, glazing, and orientation. We discuss your requirements, preferred unit locations, and any aesthetic considerations.

    2

    System Design & Quotation

We calculate the cooling load for each room and recommend the appropriate equipment. You receive a detailed quotation with no hidden costs.

    3

    Professional Installation

Indoor and outdoor units are installed, pipework is run neatly and insulated, drainage is correctly routed, and all electrical connections are made to current regulations.

    4

    Commissioning & Testing

The system is charged with refrigerant, leak tested, and commissioned. We verify cooling and heating performance in every zone.

    5

    Handover & Demonstration

We walk you through the controls, set up any smart features, and provide all warranty documentation. You know exactly how to use your system from day one.

    Why It Matters

    Consistent Comfort

Maintain your ideal temperature in every room — cooling in summer, efficient heating in winter when used as a heat pump.

    Energy Efficient Operation

Modern inverter systems adjust output to match demand, using a fraction of the energy compared to portable units or electric heaters.

    Quiet Operation

Indoor units operate as low as 19dB — quieter than a whisper. Sleep-mode settings reduce noise further at night.

    Improved Air Quality

Built-in filtration removes dust, allergens, and airborne particles, creating a healthier indoor environment.

    Property Value Enhancement

A professionally installed air conditioning system is an attractive feature that adds genuine value to your property.

    Year-Round Versatility

Most systems provide both cooling and heating, giving you efficient climate control in every season.

    Technical Detail & Expertise

We install wall-mounted, ceiling cassette, ducted, and floor-standing indoor units depending on the room layout and your aesthetic preferences. Wall-mounted units are the most common choice for bedrooms, living rooms, and home offices. Ceiling cassettes suit kitchens and open-plan spaces where wall mounting is impractical.

Multi-split systems allow a single outdoor unit to serve multiple indoor units — typically up to five rooms from one condenser. This reduces outdoor space requirements and installation costs compared to individual split systems for each room.

All refrigerant pipework is run using flared copper connections, vacuum-dried, and pressure-tested before charging. We use pipe covers and trunking where pipework is externally visible, and route internally through walls and voids wherever possible for a clean finish.

Condensate drainage is routed to an external drain or, where gravity drainage is not possible, we install mini condensate pumps. All drainage is tested at commissioning to prevent leaks that could cause damp or damage to interior finishes.

We size systems using detailed heat load calculations that account for room volume, insulation levels, glazing area and type, orientation, occupancy, and heat-generating equipment. This ensures each unit is precisely matched to its space.

Electrical supply is run from a dedicated circuit in your consumer unit, with appropriate isolation and RCD protection. All electrical work is carried out to BS 7671 (18th Edition Wiring Regulations) and certified accordingly.

For properties in conservation areas or with restrictive covenants, we advise on outdoor unit placement to minimise visual impact and comply with planning requirements. In most domestic installations, air conditioning units fall under permitted development and do not require planning permission.
