1. Services

Appian Heat Pumps provides heat pump and air conditioning installation, repair, servicing, and maintenance services across Hampshire, Berkshire, Surrey, and Wiltshire. All work is carried out by F-Gas certified engineers.

2. Quotations

All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Prices include VAT at the prevailing rate. Additional work discovered during a job will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer, card payments, and cash. For installations exceeding £2,000, a 25% deposit may be required.

4. Guarantees & Warranties

All workmanship is guaranteed for a minimum of 12 months from completion. Installation work carries a 5-year workmanship guarantee. Manufacturer warranties on parts and equipment are separate and subject to manufacturer terms. Guarantees are void if the system is modified by unauthorised persons.

5. Cancellation

Scheduled appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours' notice at no charge. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a call-out fee. Emergency call-outs are non-cancellable once an engineer has been dispatched.

6. Liability

Appian Heat Pumps carries full public liability insurance. Our liability is limited to the value of the work performed. We are not liable for pre-existing faults, damage caused by third parties, or consequential losses arising from equipment failure.

7. F-Gas Compliance

All refrigerant handling is conducted in accordance with the F-Gas Regulation (EU) No 517/2014 as retained in UK law. We maintain records of all refrigerant quantities charged, recovered, and recycled as required by law.

8. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, we will attempt to resolve the matter directly. If resolution cannot be reached, the matter may be referred to an independent mediator. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
